Off The Streets

Off the Streets helps families and individuals in Lancaster, PA get off the streets and into permanent housing.   We fill critical missing pieces to transition those who are homeless into housing, and we can act very quickly.

The transition from homelessness to a furnished room or apartment can take place within a day or two.  We work with local service agencies to identify those who need help and then we provide:

• a security deposit sent directly to the landlord
• basic furnishings and household items
  
  
  

Off the Streets is an all-volunteer team, and we are always looking for more volunteers to help move families and individuals into permanent housing. Volunteers can also help with organizing and managing household items, communication, fundraising, and other projects.
