American Heart Association/Lancaster County Division

Who We Are

The American Heart Association's mission is to reduce disability and death from cardiovascular diseases and stroke. Cardiovascular diseases kill more Americans than the next five leading causes of death combined, taking the life of one person every 33 seconds. It strikes people of every age, sex, race, and socioeconomic background. The American Heart Association works to advance groundbreaking research, spread lifesaving knowledge and help all Americans live longer, healthier lives. The Lancaster County Division of the American Heart Association works to fund life saving research to fight cardiovascular disease and stroke.
