Lancaster EMS

The Mission of Lancaster EMS is to provide comprehensive, skillful, cost effective emergency and non-emergency healthcare services to the Lancaster community while continuing to evolve with changing healthcare needs. Lancaster EMS is a non-profit organization of ambulance services (basic level and and advanced level care). We are the largest in Lancaster County responding to over 30,000 requests for service annually. Lancaster EMS also provides wheelchair van services, special event standbys and community education. i.e., CPR.

Lancaster EMS is the result of 8 separate ambulance consolidations, including ambulance services previously offered by three hospitals in Lancaster County. Our services are provided from multiple locations throughout Lancaster County. We have an average of 145 employees and 25 active volunteers.
