Who We Are

MISSION STATEMENT Provide, free of charge, the highest quality multisensory reading and writing tutorial services for children with dyslexia, through a network of nationally recognized centers of excellence. Promote and encourage education of professionals, tutorial trainees, and the public, to become resources in teaching children to read. Advance scientific knowledge of dyslexia through support of clinical research, to improve today's standards and tomorrow's care. We provide one-on-one Orton-Gillingham remediation for children in grades 1-12 with a dyslexic profile. We have a twenty-eight week academic term and a six week summer term. Students meet with a tutor twice a week for fifty minute sessions.

What We Do

The Masonic Learning Centers began operation in Massachusetts in 1994. The Lancaster Center opened in October, 2003. No Masonic affiliation is required to work at the Center or to receive its services. The Masonic fraternity underwrites the cost of services - estimated at approximately $5000 per child per year.
