Who We Are

Lititz Senior Center is open to enhance the independence of seniors by providing educational, leisure, socialization, and recreational opportunities in a safe family environment. Seniors in the community are welcomed to participate in any single daily activity or event planned by/for the center. Trips, games, cards, crafts, speakers, musical groups and a hot lunch are available to all attendees. Lunch is provided on a donation basis. The center opens at 8:30 AM with lunch served at noon. Card games and dancing are often continued into the afternoon. Activities are occasionally planned for weekends. Transportation is provided at no cost. Various events offered seasonally include flu and pneumonia vaccine (as available), produce food vouchers for seniors in the summer, and income tax and rent rebate assistance. The AARP Mature Driving course is offered as a service to seniors at the cost charged by AARP, which is $10. This affords seniors a reduction on their automobile insurance.

What We Do

The Office of Aging sponsors a total of nine (9) senior centers in Lancaster county. The Lititz Senior Center has been at its present location at the Lititz United Methodist Church on Market Street for over twenty years. It's members include a number of intergenerational families.
