Through the holistic and structured approach, students who otherwise would not have the opportunity to receive high-quality academic tutoring, private music lessons, hip-hop dance classes, Christian education, leadership development, financial literacy training and much more. The after school program is dedicated for students ranging from 7 to 17 years of age.
What We Do
The vision for Arbor Place began with a local Mennonite pastor in the early 1980's. This vision received strong backing from many denominations, individuals, and other charitable organizations. Arbor Place opened its doors to the community in 1985. In July 1986, the Arbor Place Board of Directors took possession of the Siegel-Ansel Bag and Burlap Company Building, 520 North Street, Lancaster, which housed the old teen center. The old building was demolished and the new youth development center was built. The doors were opened to the public in June 2012.
