Volunteer Services for the YWCA of Lancaster empowers women and girls from diverse backgrounds to reach their full professional potential. This is done by giving them responsibility as well as resume' building experiences through the many volunteer opportunities at the YWCA. At the same time volunteers enrich their own lives by empowering the YWCA clientele through facilitating or co-facilitating groups, counseling on the 24 hour sexual assault crisis line, or volunteering for the board and/or committees - just to name a few.
