Needs From: United Way of Lancaster County

Community Educators are volunteer public speakers who help the Alzheimer's Association raise awareness, provide education and expand the reach of education offerings in the community. These volunteers deliver presentations using prepared training materials on topics related to Alzheimer's disease and other dementias.

Community Connectors represent the Alzheimer’s Association at in-person community health and wellness events and helps to Connect community members to resources and support.
● Identify prospective community and explore their interest in joining the Alzheimer’s
cause or assisting with Alzheimer’s awareness
● Collaborating with local Alzheimer’s Association community educators who deliver
ongoing community education on a variety of caregiving topics
