Hosted by the Occupational Development Center Project Title: General Yard Cleanup Join the Occupational Development Center for a hands-on outdoor volunteer opportunity! We're looking for a small team to help with: Weeding and tidying up garden areas General yard cleanup Removing two old raised garden beds that are no longer usable This project is perfect for volunteers who enjoy working outside and don’t mind getting their hands a little dirty for a good cause. Project DetailsDates Available: Monday, September 8 Tuesday, September 9 Wednesday, September 10 Thursday, September 11 Friday, September 12 Start Time: As early as 8:00 AM. However, this can be adjusted Estimated Time Commitment: 3–4 hours Volunteers Needed: Minimum 4, Maximum 8 Minimum Age: 16 (Minors must be accompanied by an adult) Wheelchair Accessible: No What to Bring and WearComfortable outdoor clothing Gardening gloves (if available) Extra gardening tools are helpful, though some will be provided Parking InstructionsVolunteers may park along Martha Avenue or in our lot, accessible from Marshall Avenue. Check-In ProcessAll volunteers should check in with Ken Mueller at the front door upon arrival. Volunteer Skills NeededGeneral gardening experience is helpful, but not required.
