Location: 308 E King Street, Lancaster City Help us provide warmth, safety, and compassion to our community this winter. The Overnight Winter Shelter depends on dedicated volunteers to create a welcoming, supportive space for guests during the coldest months of the year. Volunteer Roles & Shifts Morning Volunteers (2 per day)Time: 8:30 AM – 9:30 AM Lead clean-up and restocking Help with bedding change-over Prepare the space before the Day Center opens Evening Volunteers (3 per day)Time: 6:30 PM – 10:00 PM Greet guests with warmth and kindness Keep food and water stocked Assist with light cleaning and spills Help create a calm, welcoming environment Schedule7 days a week | December 1 – March 1 Volunteers must be 18 or older. Preferred (But Optional) SkillsExperience in social services, medical work, outreach, or similar fields is helpful but not required. How to VolunteerComplete the Volunteer Interest Form 2.
