Volunteer Opportunity: Refresh& Renew a Community Space!

Dates: Tuesday–Thursday, September 9–11, 2025
Time: 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (3 hours per day)
Volunteers Needed: 6–12
Minimum Age: 16+ (Minors must be accompanied by an adult)

Project Overview:
Join Faith Friendship Ministries for a fulfilling volunteer experience during the Week of Caring! We’re seeking volunteers to assist with a variety of indoor and outdoor projects, including interior painting and yardwork. Whether you prefer to stay inside or enjoy the fresh air, there’s something for everyone!
Weather Plan:
Rain or shine—FFM has both indoor and outdoor projects available. In case of bad weather, all volunteers will be moved indoors.
Where to Park:
Please park at Mountville Mennonite Church, located directly behind our facility.
What to Wear & Bring:

All volunteers: Closed-toe shoes required (sneakers are fine)

Painters: Wear clothing you don’t mind getting messy

Outdoor volunteers: Long pants recommended; gloves are helpful

Water will be provided!
Volunteer Check-In:
Volunteers should meet in the Main Street parking lot at 9:00 AM for orientation and group assignments.
Skills Needed:
No experience necessary—volunteers of all skill levels are welcome!
