Looking for a meaningful way to give back this summer? Camp Schreiber is seeking volunteers ages 16 and older to support our long-running recreational program for children, teens, and young adults of all abilities.
As a Camp Schreiber volunteer, you will play an important role in creating a fun, inclusive, and memorable experience for campers. Volunteers assist camp staff with activities such as arts and crafts, fitness programs, sports, games, and more while building meaningful connections with participants.

Monday through Friday | 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Camp Dates
Week 1: June 22 – June 26
Week 2: June 29 – July 3
Week 3: July 6 – July 10
No Camp: Week of July 13
Week 4: July 20 – July 24
Volunteer Shift Options
Choose the schedule that works best for you:
Morning Shift: 8:45 AM – 1:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 12:45 PM – 3:00 PM
Full-Day Shift: 8:45 AM – 3:00 PM
Volunteers are welcome to serve multiple days or throughout the entire camp season. Full-day volunteers may bring a brown bag lunch that does not require refrigeration.
Volunteer Requirements
All volunteers must complete an online application and obtain the following clearances:
- Pennsylvania Criminal Background Check (free for volunteers; results are typically available instantly)
- Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Certification (free for volunteers; results are mailed to your home address and may take up to two weeks to arrive)
Please note that both clearances must be uploaded as part of the application process for your application to be considered complete.
