Project Title:
Cleaning Around the YMCA
Project Description:
Join us for a hands-on cleaning day at the YMCA! Volunteers will help clean the indoor track and its windows, organize the pool area, tidy the basketball court, sweep up trash, and pull weeds outside. This project will help keep our facility safe, welcoming, and enjoyable for the entire community.

265 Harrisburg Avenue, Lancaster, PA 17603
Indoors/Outdoors:
Both (indoor cleaning plus some light outdoor work)
Backup Plan (in case of bad weather):
Indoor cleaning tasks will continue as planned — track, windows, pool area, and basketball court.
Preferred Dates:
- Tuesday, 9/09/2025
- Thursday, 9/11/2025
Project Time:
Starts at 9:00 AM — approximately 3–4 hours.

Parking:
Park in the main YMCA lot at 265 Harrisburg Avenue or in the gravel lot next to it.
Clothing & Equipment Guidelines:
Wear comfortable clothing. If the weather is nice, gardening gloves, hats, and sunglasses are helpful for outdoor work. All other necessary supplies will be provided.
Volunteer Check-In:
Volunteers will meet the project coordinator at the front desk.
Skills Needed:
All skill levels welcome — just bring a positive attitude and willingness to help!
