Role Description:
Help make our Celebration and Graduation Event run smoothly by assisting those with strollers or wheelchairs with elevator access, and providing a friendly face as a Lyft Door/Elevator Operator.

Shifts Available (2 Volunteers Total):

Shift 1: 1:30 PM – 3:15 PM (arrive at 1:30 for instructions and placement)

Shift 2: 3:00 PM – 4:45 PM (arrive at 3:00 to receive instructions from the first shift volunteer)

Arrival Instructions:

All volunteers must arrive on time for their shift.

The first shift volunteer will receive instructions from event staff.

The second shift volunteer will be briefed by the first shift volunteer for a smooth transition.

Number of Volunteers Needed: 2 (1 per shift)

What You’ll Bring:

A welcoming, helpful attitude

Comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for standing and light movement

You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our guests, helping create a warm, organized, and enjoyable experience from the moment they arrive.

As our front door greeter, you’ll be stationed at the main entrance—welcoming guests with a smile, guiding them toward the LCBC lobby, and helping ensure everyone feels right at home.

We’re Looking for Volunteers Who Can:

Please arrive promptly for their shift.

Bring a welcoming smile and friendly attitude

Wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for standing/light movement

Communicate clearly with event staff and other volunteers for smooth transitions

Why This Role Matters

You will be the very first impression for many of our guests. Your warm welcome and helpful presence will set the tone for an uplifting and joyful celebration.

Bring the joy of music to our Celebration & Graduation Event! As the Music & Instrument Corner Leader, where Toddlers can explore instruments, play, and enjoy the sounds of celebration. You’ll encourage participation, keep the area organized, and ensure everyone feels welcome to join in

We’re Looking for Volunteers Who Can:

Arrive promptly at 1:30 PM for setup and instructions

Bring enthusiasm and a positive, engaging presence

Assist guests in exploring instruments safely

Maintain a fun and organized environment
