We are a 501(c)(3) that is volunteer-run and donation-based with 11 chapters across 9 counties. Our Lancaster Chapter is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Chapter Coordinator to help lead and grow our amazing community!

What will you do as a Chapter Coordinator?
As a Chapter Coordinator, you’ll play a pivotal role in overseeing the leaders and operations of a local Fostering Hope chapter. Your specific responsibilities will vary based on what you're most passionate about and where your strengths shine! Some of the exciting tasks you’ll take on include:
Building and supporting a fantastic leadership team with clear communication and expectations
Staying connected with key partners like Foster-Share Closet, local businesses, county officials, and community organizations
Lead efforts in budgeting, fundraising, setting goals, writing grants, managing social media, and maintaining communication

Time Commitment
We know your time is valuable, so we offer flexible scheduling with no set hours! While many of our coordinators juggle full-time jobs, you can expect to dedicate about 5+ hours a week, depending on the season. Plus, you’ll have the satisfaction of making an impact in your community without rigid time constraints.

We are a 501(c)(3) that is volunteer-run and donation-based with 11 chapters across 9 counties. Our Lancaster Chapter is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Social Media Coordinator to help spread the word about our amazing community!

What will you do as a Social Media Coordinator?
Responsible for the chapter's social media platforms:

·Maintain regular and clear communication with the Chapter Coordinator

·Create graphics via our Canva account

·Schedule or post to Facebook and IG accounts (if applicable)

·Respond to social media comments and messages

Time Commitment: Flexibility of schedule, no set required time or hours. Varies by week and "season." Most of our Social Media Coordinators are working full-time jobs and doing this in addition. In general, it may be 2 hours per week.

 

Are you detail-oriented, organized, and ready to make an impact? Fostering Hope is looking for a Treasurer to help manage our chapter’s finances and keep everything running smoothly. If you love numbers and enjoy making sure things are in tip-top shape, this role is for you!

What You'll Do:

Manage Finances: Work with the Chapter Coordinator and Director of Finance to ensure our finances are in order and follow all the right protocols.

Guide and Support: Help chapter leaders with purchasing and financial documentation to keep everything running smoothly.

Handle the Bank Account: Oversee the chapter’s bank account, write checks, deposit funds, and make purchases for the chapter as needed.

Time Commitment:

This role is super flexible! Most of our Treasurers balance this with full-time jobs, dedicating about 1-2 hours per week. Plus, it’s mostly virtual, so you can work from wherever suits you best!

What You'll Do:

Maintain regular and clear communication with the Chapter Coordinator

Plan, organize, and complete fundraising and community awareness events with local businesses, community partners, clubs, schools, etc.

Secure financial donors

Secure tangible donations through a variety of drives

Time Commitment:

Flexibility of schedule, no set required time or hours. Varies by week and "season." Many of our Outreach Coordinators are working full-time jobs and doing this in addition. In general, it may be 3 hours per week.
