Volunteer: Volunteer Opportunity: General Volunteer Support Community Action Program (CAP)Crispus Attucks Food Pantry – Community Action Partnership (CAP) When: 2nd & 4th Wednesday of each month The Crispus Attucks Food Pantry at the Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County is seeking dedicated volunteers to help create a welcoming, organized, and dignified food shopping experience for our neighbors. This is a hands-on opportunity to directly support food access in Lancaster while working alongside a collaborative, mission-driven team. Whether you can join us for a few hours or a full shift, your time makes a difference! Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:Setting up pantry space and neighbor seating areas Stocking and restocking shelves during distribution Breaking down cardboard and organizing storage areas Assisting neighbors throughout their shopping experience Maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and organized environment Helping close the pantry (taking down chairs, collapsing room dividers, tidying space) Standing, bending, twisting, and lifting items up to approximately 25 lbs as needed Who Can Volunteer?Individuals seeking volunteer or community service hours Students, community members, or groups All skill levels welcome Time CommitmentFlexible — opportunities vary based on current needs.
