YWCA Lancaster is seeking a dedicated volunteer to support our mission by serving as a Front Desk Opener. This role includes opening the building Monday through Friday, setting up the front desk, and welcoming all visitors in a friendly and professional manner.

Volunteer Hours:
• Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–9:30 AM

Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have all clearances- including the following:

PA State criminal (free of charge for volunteers)

PA Child Abuse History (free of charge for volunteers)

FBI Criminal background (22.95 for volunteers and it's good for 5yrs)

YWCA Lancaster is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve on our 24-Hour Sexual Assault Hotline.

Hotline callers reach out for a variety of reasons, including:

Crisis intervention and emotional support Questions about resources and referrals related to sexual violence Inquiries about counseling services

This is a meaningful opportunity for individuals interested in the social work, psychology field, as well as anyone looking to support survivors in their time of need.

Requirements:

Completion of a 40-hour training course All required clearances- including the following:

PA State criminal (free of charge for volunteers)

PA Child Abuse History (free of charge for volunteers)

FBI Criminal background (22.95 for volunteers and it's good for 5yrs)

Although this is a remote volunteer role, volunteers must remain within the state of Pennsylvania while on call
