YWCA Lancaster is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve on our 24-Hour Sexual Assault Hotline. Hotline callers reach out for a variety of reasons, including: Crisis intervention and emotional support Questions about resources and referrals related to sexual violence Inquiries about counseling servicesThis is a meaningful opportunity for individuals interested in the social work, psychology field, as well as anyone looking to support survivors in their time of need. Requirements: Completion of a 40-hour training course All required clearances- including the following:PA State criminal (free of charge for volunteers) PA Child Abuse History (free of charge for volunteers) FBI Criminal background (22.95 for volunteers and it's good for 5yrs) Although this is a remote volunteer role, volunteers must remain within the state of Pennsylvania while on callIf you’re interested in volunteering or would like to help spread the word, your support is greatly appreciated Agency: YWCA Lancaster
