Lancaster Downtowners

Lancaster Downtowners is a welcoming, caring community of seniors that supports independence, social connection, and learning. Downtowners includes individuals who have already retired and are living in the City of Lancaster others who anticipate living downtown for their retirement years, and younger people supportive of the Downtowners initiative.

Lancaster Downtowners is a member of the national Village to Village Network. Lancaster Downtowners offers member-designed educational, social, and wellness events that engage and activate. Members support one another though Just One Call, a volunteer program that provides help when needed. Calls may request transportation, pet and plant care, daily reassurance, assistance with yard work and snow removal, technology coaching, and more. When members are looking for services that extend beyond what our village provides, we recommend connections to other resources that help them maintain an independent lifestyle.
