Who We Are

Gracie’s House helps organizations create, maintain, and protect safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth in rural areas and offers resources to improve the quality of life for LGBTQ+ youth and their families. Founded in 2023 by Amy & Jaxon King, Gracie's mother and brother, Gracie's House aims to improve life for LGBTQ+ youth through artistic expression and connecting with nature. We fund local LGBTQ+ initiatives and collaborate with other non-profits who protect LGBTQ+ youth.

What We Do

Gracie’s House helps organizations create, maintain, and protect safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth--especially in small towns and rural areas--and offers resources to improve the quality of life for LGBTQ+ youth and their families. Our three goals are: • GRANTS: We award grants to organizations to open or maintain safe spaces for LGBTQ+ youth in rural areas / small towns. • CAMPS: We run PRIDE Camp, a week-long sleepaway summer camp, and FOUND family weekend camps for LGBTQ+ youth and their families at an award-winning camp location in Pennsylvania. • ARTS: We promote mental wellness and resilience though artistic expression and provide means for organizations to run arts and music-focused workshops and events to support the voices of LGBTQ+ youth. At Gracie’s House, we work to create spaces where LGBTQ+ people feel safe to be themselves, to express themselves authentically, and to interact with nature and community in ways that build self-love and resilience. Founded in honor of a talented artist and soul, this organization continues the compassionate fight of Gracie King, who spoke out for the kids who couldn’t. Camp improved her life every single summer she went. We think she’d want us to do the same for the kids she wanted to protect.
