

Who We Are
Compass Mark's mission is to prevent addiction through education, skill building, and community mobilization. For over fifty years, our life-changing programs have guided thousands of children, youth, and adults in Lancaster and Lebanon County toward a healthy and successful life path.
What We Do
Compass Mark reaches over 10,000 people each year throughout Lancaster and Lebanon counties. Our programs include:

Addiction Resource Center: A "one-stop" service for individuals seeking information about alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and gambling. The program includes confidential and anonymous referral services, a free lending library and publication clearinghouse, and community education services.

Community-Based Prevention

Family Services Advocate: A community-based intervention program that identifies, supports, and advocates for the unique needs of children with incarcerated parents.

Student Skills for Life: A group educational experience for youth who are experimenting with alcohol and other drugs. The 12 hour program provides experiential life skills training along with referral/follow-up supports and parent resources.

School-Based Prevention: We provide a variety of evidence-based programs for local schools that are designed to improve student resiliency and increase their protective factors.

Problem Gambling Prevention: A program that offers services to children, youth and adults to raise awareness of gambling addiction and prevent problems in our community.

Training and Technical Assistance: Compass Mark offers customized skill-building programs and training services anywhere there is a need. These include professional workshops, technical assistance to community groups and coalitions, Student Assistance Program (SAP) Training, and children/parent education.
