Penn Medicine LGH- Fresh Express

Fresh Express is a collaborative partnership between Central Pennsylvania Food Bank, Community Action Partnership, and Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health. Through this monthly program, we provide fresh fruits and vegetables, milk, and eggs to low-income individuals and families in the Columbia community. We believe that access to healthy, affordable food is essential to overall health and well-being. By connecting community members with nutritious foods, Fresh Express helps support healthier lives and stronger communities. We rely on dedicated volunteers to make this program possible. Volunteers assist with sorting and distributing food, welcoming participants, and helping individuals and families load food items into their vehicles. Whether you can give a few hours or become a regular volunteer, your support helps ensure that healthy food reaches those who need it most.
