Who We Are

The mission of the Arthritis Foundation is to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control and cure of arthritis and related diseases. The Arthritis Foundation, Central PA Chapter, South Eastern Branch is a part of the only National health agency dedicated to arthritis research and to provide programs and services to help people affected by arthritis. Arthritis includes over 100 different types and related syndromes and affects people of all ages, even children. Join us at the Branch for a one-hour information session, last Thursday of each month, noon; who we are, what we do. Come get the facts about the disease that affects more than 70 million Americans along with the breakthroughs that are making their lives better. Anyone interested is welcome - please call 717-397-6271 to RSVP- bring your own lunch, refreshments provided. Volunteers are needed for leadership and follower positions, long and short-term, once and done opportunities. Some needs require training provided by the Arthritis Foundation. There are both program and services volunteer needs and special event fund raising.
