Social Worker, Environmental Services staff, and Activity Worker. A licensed physician oversees all medical care. The origins of Conestoga View are found in an Act of the Pennsylvania State Legislature of February 27, 1797, at which time approval was granted to erect an alms house in Lancaster County for the care of indigent people. The first building was constructed in 1800 on a tract of land that was donated by Mathias Slaugh and his wife.
