What We Do

Elizabethtown Public Library was formed by the community to meet the literary and research needs of our community in 1925. The 8,000 volume library was moved into a church building in 1961. forty years later the Library moved into a beautiful building in the center of downtown Elizabethtown. Today the Library boasts more than 42,000 volumes, numerous computers for public use and hundreds of hours of programming each year. The Library is continuing to grow in meeting the needs of our community and in the services we provide. We are excited about the opportunities before us.
