The Friends of Reservoir Park takes leadership role in supporting maintenance and improvements at this historic park. Fundraising activities and the annual Community Day support park beautification. Reservoir Park is located between the 700 and 800 blocks of East King Street and East Orange Street. It includes a street hockey rink, a lighted pavillion, a splash pool, a basketball court, and a children's playground area. A restored circa 1920 glider swing faces the 700 block of East Orange Street. The Lancaster Rec Commission runs a summer playground program at the Park and sponsors other youth activities at the Park's facilities.
What We Do
The Friends of Reservoir Park was formed in 2004 to mark the 100th anniversary of Blanche Nevin's sculptured Lion that faces the East King Street side of the Park.
