The Lancaster County Art Association is a non-profit organization with an emphasis on community service and teaching art. The LCAA's mission is to support the visual arts in Lancaster County. The LCAA offers art classes, art exhibits, programs, and a meeting place for artists. The LCAA has monthly solo and group art exhibits, an annual National Juried Art Exhibit, educational programs on the arts, and art classes for adults and children. The LCAA is located between Route 741 and the Strasburg Pike near the Strasburg Community Park and the Strasburg Library. The neighboring park provides a serene and beautiful setting. The Association is open to the public 5 days a week from 1 to 5 PM. It is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. The LCAA's building has a geometric modern design that fits in well with the rural landscape. The exhibit space is well lit with large windows in one wall and hanging partitions that can be moved and adjusted to accommodate different exhibits. It is a very comfortable and beautiful facility. It also has a small art library for the use of its members and visitors.
