Who We Are
Little People Day Care School of Columbia is committed to providing a high-quality early childhood program which provides a safe and nurturing environment and promotes the physical, social, emotional, and intellectual development of the children in our care. Little People Day Care School of Columbia is NAEYC accredited and licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Public Welfare and Pennsylvania Department of Education. Child care is provided for children from the ages of 6 weeks to 12 years. In addition to our Infant through PreK programs, we also have a full-day kindergarten program, an after-school program, and a Summer Camp. There is a growing awareness that Early Childhood Education is extremely important. When children in their earliest years are exposed to many and varied experiences, healthy social contacts, and skillful guidance, they will most likely enjoy the most desirable kind of overall growth. Such early growth will have an enduring, positive, and profound impact upon their lives. It is between birth and 4 years that a child develops the attitude toward learning, education, morals, and social behavior. Little People faculty is well prepared to work hand-in-hand with the home in order to ensure that important good beginning.
