Who We Are

The Long's Park Amphitheater Foundation was created to maintain the community amphitheater in this wonderful city park and oversee performances on its stage. Since that time it has developed two initiatives: free, 13-week Long's Park Summer Music Series and the award-winning Long's Park Art & Craft Festival Labor Day weekend. The Long's Park Summer Music Series presents a full season of quality enjoyment for all ages. Free concerts are presented every Sunday evening during June, July & August. Grammy-winners, Blues winners and stars from across the country and around the world regularly present the performances Sunday nights in the Park. Now presenting our 47th season, crowds regularly exceed 100,000 by summer's close. The Long's Park Art & Craft Festival began 31 years ago to raise funds to support the Foundation's entertainment mission. Since then the fine art and craft show has grown to be one of the nation's top festivals. Annually the 200 exhibitors are chosen from more than 1,000 applicants. In 2007, applications came from artists and craftspeople living in 46 states, the District of Columbia and 2 foreign countries.

What We Do

The Foundation was formed in 1962 to present quality, free entertainment at the Long's Park Amphitheater.
