Water Street Health Services

Water Street Health Services exists to advance the kingdom of God while providing Christian healthcare to those without access. The Water Street Health Services provide basic and comprehensive medical and dental care with supportive services that include: medication, education that includes nutrition and diabetes classes, smoking cessation classes, teeth cleaning and sealants and mental health counseling.

The Water Street Health Services was started in 1993 by Dr "Chip" Mershon, founder and Water Street Health Services board chair. The dental clinic was started by the medical clinic in 2003 due to the identified oral health issues. The Clinic is located at the Water Street Mission but is a separate agency with separate boards and finances, the clinic rents space from Water Street Ministries and continues to provide services to WSM uninsured residents while providing care to the community uninsured starting in 2008.
