Founded by Rob Ross & Serena Wu, this husband-and-wife team built the 501 (c)(3) charity with one mission — to serve as a sanctuary for women and their families who have suffered a pregnancy, fetal, or neonatal loss.

Rob & Serena understand the tragedy, having lost a baby boy in 2010.

“No one wants to be a part of this club. I became a part of this club 7 years ago. We never dreamed that we would become members. I was a doctor. I did all the testing available to me. And, all testing was good, without abnormalities,” says Serena.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 23,000 fetal deaths occur each year. One in every 150 pregnancies ends in stillbirth.

“There is never an end to this process, as it is a person who never was. Yet, a mother always knows that she experienced a loss — no matter what. A mother knows she has lost a daughter, a son, a friend,” says Rob.

Rob adds, “We want to build a place where families can get away from the neighborhood, the grocery store, the church and anywhere they would be reminded of the expectation of a productive, healthy pregnancy; it is a sanctuary for those with a very special need.”

We are dedicated to not only providing a sanctuary for women and their families who have suffered a fetal, or neonatal loss but also for building another tomorrow. One foot, one step, one hope at a time. Together, we will work to find support, hope, healing, and peace. You are not alone.

Our goal is to offer charitable services constituting of support and other services directed to families suffering pregnancy, pre-natal, and neo-natal losses of children, namely, healing services consisting of nutrition, exercise, yoga, and massage services, support services, consisting, consisting of group therapy, individual counseling, and support groups, and therapy services utilizing art, music, photography, writing, and painting.
