Who We Are
How We Help
- Educate families and our community by inviting speakers to address pertinent issues
- Provide up-to-date information to new parents of children with Down syndrome through our First Call Program
- Sponsor social events to promote awareness and advocacy of individuals with Down syndrome, such as Dress Down Days, and our annual Buddy Walk
- Sponsor social activities to give families an opportunity to connect and network
- Provide scholarships to Regional and National Conferences
- Provide local libraries with up-to-date books on Down sydrome
Interested In Making a Difference?
We invite you to get involved in Celebrate Down Syndrome, Inc. many volunteer opportnities. Volunteering is a rewarding way to benefite Celebrate Down Syndrome, Inc. (CDS) and your community.
- Volunteer to be on one of our committees (fundraising, Program Development, Public Relations, Education, First Call Program, Social events)
- Volunteer to be a babysitter for when CDS has meetings
- Volunteer to be on our Board of Directors (looking to seek new members)
What We Do
Celebrate Down Syndrome, Inc. is a non-profit organization whose mission is to connect with families to provide information, to give support and to help them gain inner strength so they may be their own best resource. Celebrate Down Syndrome, Inc. seeks to provide education and information in the hope of fostering a fully inclusive community for individuals with Down syndrome and their families.
