This event is designed to introduce new volunteers to programs and opportunities at GMTRC, an organization devoted to enhancing the lives of individuals with special needs through equine-assisted activities.
We are looking for willing and able volunteers to assist in therapeutic horseback riding lessons for children and adults with special needs, as well as volunteers to help maintain our barn and take care of our horses. Horse experience is appreciated, but not required. We train all who want to learn how to work with our riders and horses. Volunteers ages 14 and up are welcome. Volunteers over age 17 must submit a PA Criminal clearance and a Child Abuse History clearance. Those interested can go to www.greystonemanortrc.org for more information.
