The Event: SouthEast is raising funds by partnering with Over the Edge to give people the chance to rappel down Ruoff Tower on October 5th & 6th! Participants will be raising at least $1,000 per person for this exclusive opportunity to rappel.
The Company: Over The Edge is a special events company specializing in hosting signature rappelling events. We have been operating throughout North America since 2003, assisting thousands of participants in partaking in a once in a life experience for a great cause.
As an Event Volunteer you will be asked to volunteer with various tasks all on the grounds/in the building:
- Set up – 7:00am – 9:00am
- Registration table – get Edgers to sign in, sign the waiver, put on wristbands, make nametags, collect Edger personal items & put them in Ziploc bags
- Staging – assist OTE staff in getting Edgers into their rappelling gear
- Greeter/Escort
- GoPro runner – swap out memory cards, get GoPros from Landing Zone to staging area or the roof and mount to helmets
- Tear down – 5:00pm – 7:00pm; pack up registration table, stack/organize tables & chairs, take down signage
