Be among FRIENDS when you volunteer at the 70th annual Friends of Lancaster Public Library BIG Book Sale!
We typically bring a QUARTER OF A MILLION books to the BIG Book Sale, so we need A LOT of help unpacking the books.
- Unpack the books and arrange them on tables in your section.
- There is no sign up, just show up, and we’ll show you what to do!
- If we have more books to unpack, we will be back at it on Thursday, June 19, beginning at 9AM!
- As a bonus, you will have an opportunity to preview books available at the sale.
- Volunteers must be 14 years old
- In order to keep everyone safe and healthy, children under the age of 14 will not be allowed inside during setup
The BIG Book Sale is a great short-term volunteer opportunity for individuals, companies, youth groups, and others. Shifts are a reasonable length, but they can be tailored to your needs. We would love to have you join us and will be happy to work with you to find a job suits you.
