Make a Meaningful Impact in Our Community
The Crispus Attucks Food Pantry at the Community Action Partnership of Lancaster County is seeking dedicated volunteers to help create a welcoming, organized, and dignified food shopping experience for our neighbors.
This is a hands-on opportunity to directly support food access in Lancaster while working alongside a collaborative, mission-driven team. Whether you can join us for a few hours or a full shift, your time makes a difference!
Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:

Setting up pantry space and neighbor seating areas

Stocking and restocking shelves during distribution

Breaking down cardboard and organizing storage areas

Assisting neighbors throughout their shopping experience

Maintaining a welcoming, respectful, and organized environment

Helping close the pantry (taking down chairs, collapsing room dividers, tidying space)

Standing, bending, twisting, and lifting items up to approximately 25 lbs as needed

Time Commitment
Flexible — opportunities vary based on current needs. We offer multiple shifts throughout the afternoon and evening to support pantry operations from setup to close.
