About the Opportunity:
Lancaster Rec Center is seeking motivated, community-minded volunteers to support our ongoing programs and services. This general volunteer role is a great entry point for anyone interested in giving back, exploring volunteer opportunities, and learning more about our organization’s current needs.

Volunteer Tasks May Include:

  • Administrative support and organizational assistance

  • Program or event support

  • Outreach and community engagement

  • Other tasks aligned with Lancaster Rec Center’s mission

This opportunity is ideal for individuals looking to complete volunteer or community service hours, explore meaningful service work, or contribute to impactful community initiatives.

Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:

  • Assisting staff with daily tasks

  • Supporting programs, events, and outreach efforts

  • Providing administrative and organizational support

  • Other duties based on your availability and interests

Year-Round Events Volunteers May Support:

  • Open Streets Lancaster – 5/09/26

  • Lancaster Beer Gardens Open – 6/04/26

  • Lancaster Unity Cup – Kickoff and Opening Ceremonies – 6/13/26

  • RECtoberfest – 10/17/26

  • Trick or Treat – 10/30/26

  • Winter Carnival – 12/17/26

Time Commitment:
Flexible — opportunities vary based on current needs
