YWCA Lancaster is seeking dedicated volunteers to serve on our 24-Hour Sexual Assault Hotline.
Hotline callers reach out for a variety of reasons, including:
- Crisis intervention and emotional support
- Questions about resources and referrals related to sexual violence
- Inquiries about counseling services
This is a meaningful opportunity for individuals interested in the social work, psychology field, as well as anyone looking to support survivors in their time of need.
Requirements:
- Completion of a 40-hour training course
- All required clearances
- Although this is a remote volunteer role, volunteers must remain within the state of Pennsylvania while on call
