Project Description

Help make a difference in the community by supporting the Columbia Dream Center’s Soup Kitchen program. Volunteers will assist kitchen staff with preparing and serving meals to individuals and families in need.

This project provides a meaningful opportunity to serve others, work alongside community partners, and help ensure neighbors have access to a warm and welcoming meal.

Volunteer Details

Number of Volunteers Needed: 1–5 volunteers
Project Duration: Approximately 3 hours
Minimum Age: 16 years old

Volunteer Requirements

  • Volunteers of all skill levels are welcome.
  • No previous kitchen experience is required.
  • A willingness to help, serve others, and work as part of a team is appreciated.

What to Wear

Please wear:

  • Closed-toe shoes
  • Non-slip shoes are required

Accessibility and Parking Information

  • This project is wheelchair accessible.
  • Street parking is available if the parking lot behind the church is full.

Volunteer Check-In Process

Volunteers should enter through the ramp door located on the 4th Street side of the church. Upon arrival, please ask for Jenn or Nicie.
