Project Description
Help ReUzit Shop of New Holland prepare for the upcoming season by assisting with Fall and Winter clothing preparation. Volunteers will help hang, organize, and prepare seasonal clothing items for the sales floor.
This project is a great opportunity to support a local nonprofit shop while helping ensure customers have access to quality clothing items for the upcoming fall and winter seasons.
Volunteer Details
Number of Volunteers Needed: 4–6 volunteers per day
Project Duration: Approximately 2–3 hours
Minimum Age: 12 years old
(Minors require an accompanying adult.)
Volunteer Requirements
- No special skills or previous experience needed.
- Volunteers will assist with hanging and pricing clothing items.
- Volunteers should be comfortable working with clothing organization and sorting tasks.
What to Wear
Please wear:
- Comfortable, casual clothing
- Comfortable closed-toe shoes
Please avoid:
- Short shorts
- Cropped tops
Accessibility and Parking Information
- This project is wheelchair accessible.
- A large parking lot is available diagonally across from the shop on Shirk Road.
Volunteer Check-In Process
Volunteers should enter through the back Donation Dock door and proceed to the Processing Room. A ReUzit Shop supervisor, Steph, will meet volunteers upon arrival.
Weather Plan
This is an indoor project and will take place regardless of weather conditions.
