Project Description
Join ReUzit on State for a meaningful volunteer experience supporting the daily operations of a nonprofit thrift store. Volunteers will assist with a variety of tasks within processing, retail, and donation receiving areas.
This project provides an opportunity to help organize donations, support store operations, and contribute to a mission-driven organization that benefits the local community.
Volunteer Details
Number of Volunteers Needed: 4–8 volunteers
Project Duration: Approximately 2 hours
Minimum Age: 16 years old
Volunteer Requirements
- No special skills or previous experience required.
- Volunteers should be willing to assist where needed and work as part of a team.
- Tasks may vary based on the needs of the store and donation areas.
What to Wear
Please wear:
- Modest, comfortable clothing
- Closed-toe shoes
Please note:
- No sleeveless or revealing tops
- Modest-length shorts are acceptable
- Yoga pants are acceptable when worn with a longer top
- Jeans are welcome

Parking is available on-site.
Check-In:
Volunteers should meet June Landis, Volunteer Coordinator, at the Customer Service Desk located at the front of the store.
Accessibility and Weather Plan
- This project is wheelchair accessible.
- All volunteer tasks take place indoors and are not dependent on weather conditions.
