Project Details
Help give the Clay Street Low Barrier Emergency Shelter a much-needed flooring glow-up! Volunteers will help scrub the shelter's textured floors using broomstick-mounted scrub brushes and soapy water, then mop the floors clean.
Volunteers may also help with other light-duty cleaning projects, such as wiping down walls and organizing storage areas.
Volunteer Information
- Date: September 17 or September 19, 2026
- Start Time: 9:00 AM
- Duration: Approximately 3 hours
- Volunteers Needed: 8–12
- All skill levels welcome
- Wheelchair accessible
- Indoor project; weather will not affect the project
What to Wear
Wear comfortable clothing and bring gloves. All cleaning tools and supplies will be provided.
Parking & Check-In
Parking is available in the lot along the Christian Street side of the building. Street parking is also available.
Volunteers should check in at the parking lot entrance (atrium).
