Description

The Lancaster Public Library Friends Group operates and runs two bookstores. All proceeds directly benefit the Lancaster Public Library. The bookstores are operated solely by volunteers and the inventory comes from generous community donations. It's the ultimate recycling program for book lovers!

Do you love books? Have you imagined having your own bookstore? Here’s a chance to volunteer and give some valuable time to an important fundraising outlet for the Lancaster Public Library. The Marshall Street Bookstore sells quality used books for all ages at extremely reasonable prices. If you have a few hours free weekly or monthly, please consider becoming a member of our volunteer staff. Hours are flexible and scheduling is done monthly. Volunteers staff the store making sales and restocking shelves during the hours of 10-2 every day but Sunday. Shifts are 10-12, 12-2 or 10-2. Ask for more information during your next visit!
