Here at United Way of Lancaster County's Volunteer Center, we have had a recent surge of requests for assistance with snow removal. In response to this need, we have created a Shovel Squad of volunteers from various parts of the county who are willing to help their neighbors out when sidewalks and driveways are covered with ice and snow. If you are interested in being a part of Shovel Squad team, sign up here and we will work on connecting you to people in your area who are looking for assistance. After you sign up to help, we'll share a list of addresses in need and you can select the one(s) most convenient to you when snow is scheduled.
