The Friends of Lancaster Public Library will host the BIG Book Sale at F&M College Alumni Sports Fitness Center!
Be among FRIENDS when you volunteer to help with CLEAN UP!
As a Big Book Sale Clean Up Volunteer, we need your help removing EVERYTHING from the facility. A major part of cleanup is putting the unsold books into large cardboard gaylords located throughout the facility. We will remove signs and tables, too – this can be physical work! The more help, the quicker we get finished. Plan on two+ hours for cleanup.
- There is no need to sign up for this volunteer opportunity, just drop by and we’ll put you to work.
- Ages 14+ please
- This role will require walking, bending, and lifting up to 40 lbs. Accommodations available upon request
- Please wear closed-toe shoes and appropriate clothing
- Space will be available to safely store small items like a coat, keys, purse, water bottle or packed lunch/snack
