The SoWe community trick or treating event that we started several years ago because of a lack of door to door trick or treating opportunities in the neighborhood has become very popular with families in our neighborhood. This event gives families a way to trick or treat close to home. In the years since it was started, it has become a much bigger event, with face painting, games, a haunted house, a photo station, and tabling by neighborhood organizations.
There are a variety of volunteer roles available, including setup, greeting, games, activities, and cleanup. Please visit the link below for more information.
All volunteers will receive a stylish SoWe shirt, hot chocolate and candy!! So please invite family, friends, and neighbors to volunteer with you! Also, since this is a Halloween event after all, we STRONGLY ENCOURAGE you to wear a COSTUME!
