Emergency Winter Shelter Volunteers
(December – April)
There are a variety of volunteer roles at the shelter:
Evening Greeter – help check guests in, serve dinner and get guests settled for night (6 – 9 pm)
Overnight – spend the night at the shelter, alternating sleep and monitoring with another volunteer (9 pm – 6:30 am)
Morning Clean-Up – help prepare breakfast and get guests ready for the day (6:30 – 8:30 am)
To volunteer at the shelter, volunteers must submit a criminal background check and child abuse clearances.
