Join the Fight Against Hunger: Become a SNAP Blitz Volunteer!
Make a Difference in Lancaster County!
Help your fellow Lancastrians apply for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) by becoming a volunteer in our ‘SNAP Blitz’ campaign!
As a Volunteer, You Will:
- Receive Expert Training: Participate in a session led by the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank SNAP Outreach Team.
- Support Your Community: Assist neighbors with SNAP applications at local food pantries.
- Develop Essential Skills: Use Excel to log and manage application data.
- Commit to Service: Volunteer at a minimum of two SNAP Outreach days at local pantries this October (exact dates and locations to be announced).
Training Sessions:
- Monday, September 23: 5:00 PM - 8:30 PM (Dinner provided)
- Wednesday, September 25: 9:00 AM - 12:30 PM (Breakfast provided)
