Who We Are
Hands-on House, Children's Museum of Lancaster is a not-for-profit educational center whose mission is to create and provide interactive learning opportunities for all children and their families through self-directed exhibits and programming that stimulate curiosity and invite the joy of discovery through play.
What We Do
A place to discover.
A place to experience.
A place to have fun.
A place to learn.
Hands-on House, Children's Museum of Lancaster is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping kids learn and making sure they have lots of fun in the process. The museum is designed for children ages 2-10 years. At Hands-on House, adults and children play and learn together. Our philosophy of childhood learning is simple: it lasts longer if it's more fun, and it's more fun if it includes doing. Our exhibits, classes and programs are short on lectures, and long on interactive, participatory activities.
