Long's Park Amphitheater Foundation is seeking volunteers to help produce one of the top fine arts festivals in the United States. We are looking for people with good customer service skills who also enjoy being in a beautiful outdoor setting. This 3 day event, August 30 - Sept. 2 draws over 12,000 people from across the mid- Atlantic region. Specific volunteer opportunities inlcude gate ticket sales, booth sitters, runners, pre-show set up and post show tear down. Other opportunities may be available. This festival is highly organized and is conducted in an inclusive and friendly manner.
The Art Festival is the primary fundraising event that generates revenue for the Summer Music Series. This summer marks the 40th Anniversary of this event.
From humble beginnings this three-day festival has grown in scope and popularity to the extent that it is recognized as a highly acclaimed event in its own right. It is consistently ranked as one of the top fine art shows in the United States by presenting artists and visitors. The 200 plus exhibitors are chosen by independent jurors and represent states from all regions of the United States. All ticket sold serve as the foundation of funds utilized in the production of the following year’s Summer Music Series.
